A Gathering Place for Claims Adjusters

The objective of the Philadelphia Loss Conference is to advance and educate Claims Adjusters, promote good relations and provide an exchange of information and ideas between all those associated with the adjustment of insurance claims. We accomplish this mission through regular dinner meetings with educational sessions. Benefits received through membership with the Philadelphia Loss Conference include: Up to Date Industry Topics, networking with other Property and Casualty Claims Adjusters, experts in Cause & Origin Investigation, Restoration, Private Investigators and Forensic Accountants just to name  a few. We continually seek and welcome new members. Please utilize a membership application and include the name of  one existing member as your sponsor.

President's Message

Mid - January 2012


All we can say is WOW!!!   What a terrific turnout for our first meeting of 2012!!  We had 62 attendees and it certainly added some energy and vibe to our evening.

THANKS to all of you and welcome to the new members who joined on Tuesday. We thank all of our vendors who provided door prizes.   Our 50/50 was a whopping $350 total!!!   It was a SUPER night.  We have 143 MEMBERS!!  YEAH!!!

 

The speakers, Marie Reilly and George Mc Cool, from Wright and O’Donnell, gave us a great refresher presentation on “Best Practices in the Adjustment of Property Damage Claims.   So, we decided to make the content a part of our EDUCATION page as the details on proper claim handling are always important to revisit.  Check it out by clicking here!

 

We announced our 3 new Committees for this season.   MEMBERSHIP will be chaired by Sheila O’Donnell of Wright and O’Donnell, P.C.   In order to reach our goal of 200 members for this 2011-2012 season, Sheila will be e-mailing non-members from our distribution list.   SUPPORT PLC and join today. 

 

Next is SPEAKER, chaired by Art Czajkowski of J.F. Goetz and Associates.   Art will be sending an e-mail to ALL asking for topic suggestions and potential speakers for our 2012-2013 season.    SUPPORT PLC and respond to Art with your ideas.

 

Last but not least, our LINKS Committee, chaired by Mike Petrie of Litigation Solutions.   Mike will be searching the World Wide Web to obtain links to “like“ organizations in order to increase our insurance knowledge and networking.   SUPPORT PLC and let Mike know of any organizations YOU like.
