President's Message

With the New Year in full swing, I wanted to announce some changes we are making to make PLC the foremost organization in the claim industry.
We announced the 3 new chairs—MEMBERSHIP, Sheila O’Donnell; SPEAKER, Art Czajkowski; LINKS, Mike Petrie. Sheila and Art have drafted e-mails to our e-mail distribution list about membership and speaker suggestions for the 2012-2013 season. We look forward to new members and great speaker/topic ideas.
The website now lists the times for all of our meetings on the MEETINGS PAGE. Under EDUCATION, the January meeting presentation content is added so ALL can have the opportunity for this educational update. We hope to offer this to our members after each of the upcoming meetings.
NEW NAME for SERVICE PROVIDER page. Starting this month, the name will change to VENDOR DIRECTORY. This is a more accurate description of the purpose of this page. Let me clarify the difference between individual membership and vendor directory membership. Our individual membership is $25 for the year and is for one person for one season. For $35, your COMPANY will be listed along with your business card on the WEBsite. This is only for the company and not the individuals who may work for the company. We provide this DIRECTORY as a member benefit when a member is in need of an expert, a private investigator , restoration services, forensic accounting, or an attorney to name a few participants. This is an excellent marketing tool for our vendor members and we urge all of our members to support this program.
We will continue with our 50/50 via tickets BUT our DOOR PRIZES will be selected from the business cards we obtain in the basket. We THANK all of our door prize providers and look forward to having more each meeting.
We continue to offer FREE dinner meetings for ALL insurance carrier adjusters BUT we want your membership. Your membership fee pays for itself with one meeting. Then you get the next 3 for free!!! Where else can you have great networking, refreshments, dinner and diverse speakers 4 times a year for $25!! It is a great deal.
The PLC Board urges ALL members to help out at the meetings or offer your insight for speakers/topics and to make suggestions for good of PLC. Contact anybody on the Board –we are here to serve you, our members. .
